Welcome to the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI). We’re honored you’ve decided to become an AFFI member. We are proud to boast a growing membership roster of more than 500 companies covering all sectors of the frozen food industry.
AFFI members have access to an unmatched menu of services and programs, including advocacy efforts to represent the industry before Congress and federal agencies, to initiatives designed to help build, promote and protect your business.
To learn more about the programs and benefits available exclusively to AFFI members, please visit our Member Services page. AFFI also offers the industry a variety of resources, such as our Frozen Food Buyer’s Guide and Frozen Food Handling and Merchandising Guide, which are designed to promote business development and foster understanding of key frozen food industry issues. These resources are available on our Industry Resources page.
Now that you’re a member, you will begin receiving a variety of e-mail communications from AFFI, alerting you to important AFFI news and developments, such as Freeze Flash, our weekly e-newsletter; Frozen Express, our daily frozen food industry news summary; and In Case You Missed It, a collection of top line news items regarding key industry and political issues.
Throughout the year, AFFI hosts a number of conferences and events you may be interested in attending or sponsoring. For more information on AFFI events, please visit our Upcoming Events page.
AFFI engages with its members on critical industry topics through a number of issue-specific committees that you might wish to consider joining. These committees hold regular meetings, workshops, webinars and educational sessions to guide AFFI members through important issue developments, with committee members receiving frequent updates from AFFI on the issues they care about.
To help further the appreciation for our industry on Capitol Hill, AFFI manages the Friends of Frozen Food grassroots advocacy initiative. Through the Friends of Frozen Food, you can write to your members of Congress on important industry matters or schedule a tour of your facility for your members of Congress and show them what you do and why it’s important.
As part of our industry’s work to raise our voice on Capitol Hill, many frozen food companies are supporters of the FROZEN FOODPAC. The FROZEN FOODPAC is dedicating to helping elect congressional candidates who appreciate our industry and will stand with us on our most important issues. More information on the FROZEN FOODPAC, including how you can become a supporter, is available here.
AFFI is committed to promoting consumer awareness and education of the many benefits of frozen foods and to helping pioneer advanced food research through our Frozen Food Foundation. For more information on the Foundation’s education, awareness and research efforts, visit www.frozenfoodfacts.org.
