Revised by the Frozen Food Handling and Merchandising Alliance, the 2009 edition of the Frozen Food Handling and Merchandising is published by the American Frozen Food Institute as a means of promoting food safety and quality. The document contains the frozen food industry’s recommended practices for the care, handling and storage of pre-packaged frozen foods throughout distribution.
The Frozen Food Handling and Merchandising Alliance, which served as editorial board for the revision of the document, was comprised of representatives from the following industry associations:
