Revised by the Frozen Food Roundtable, the 2009 edition of the Frozen Food Handling and Merchandising is published by AFFI as a means of promoting food safety and quality. The document contains the frozen food industry’s recommended practices for the care, handling and storage of pre-packaged frozen foods throughout distribution.
The Frozen Food Roundtable, which served as editorial board for the revision of the document, was comprised of representatives from the following industry associations:
