  • Urge Congress to Pass Trade Promotion Authority Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), Senate Finance Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) introduced the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015. The purpose of the bill is to grant the Administration Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), which allows the U.S. Trade Representative to present international trade agreements to Congress for an up or down vote of approval.   • Urge Congress to Block the National Labor Relations Board “Ambush Election” Rule The U.S. Senate on March 4, 2015, voted to prevent the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from implementing its “ambush election” rule.   • Tell Congress to protect consumers, food makers from dairy price spikes As Congress continues debate over a new Farm Bill that will set federal nutrition and agriculture policy for the next five years, bills in both the House and Senate would create a complex new dairy supply management program that will ultimately saddle businesses and consumers with new costs.   • Urge Congress to Support Frozen Fruit, Vegetable Snacks in Schools Congress is currently debating new Farm Bill legislation that will set federal agriculture and nutrition policy for the next five years. Call on your elected officials to support expanding the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Fruit and Vegetable Snack Program to allow schools to serve frozen fruit and vegetable snacks. Such an expansion will enable school nutritionists to serve the widest possible variety of healthy and affordable fruits and vegetables throughout the entire school, helping promote a lifetime of healthy eating habits.
